The Queen Elizabeth II Cup first began in 1975 to commemorate a visit to Hong Kong by the late Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, late Prince Philip. Audemars Piguet began sponsoring the Cup in 1999. Limited to 200 pieces, Audemars Piguet pays tribute to this memorable event and released the present watch in 2018.
