Lot Essay

Reference 6150 and 6350 are the earliest examples of the iconic “Explorer” series from Rolex. Made in the early 1950’s, the present example is believed to be one of the earliest examples of 6150 where the “Explorer” has not yet been added to the dial and therefore named by collectors “Pre-Explorer”.
