Le pourtour est entièrement sculpté d'une scène animée représentant trois lettrés et un serviteur à bord d'un bateau couvert voguant sur les flots dans un paysage montagneux et rocheux peuplé d'un pin et d'arbustes.

Lot Essay

The present lot may be compared with two small spinach-green jade brush pots, each finely carved with landscape designs, that sold at Christie's Hong Kong: one measuring 12.2 cm. high, that sold on 30 May 2012, lot 3961; and an imperially inscribed brush pot, measuring 12.5 cm high, that sold on 27 November 2019, lot 2847.
