Il représente le visage de Mahakala à l'expression féroce, ses trois yeux grand ouverts. Sa bouche ouverte laissant apparaître sa langue et ses crocs acérés est entourée de rinceaux flammés. Il est encadré par un bandeau contenant des vajra alternés avec des visages de citipati.
