Oval, the body finely chased and engraved in the Persian taste with dense scrolls and foliage, on a conforming oval foot and with two bifurcated loop handles terminating in swirls, the domed cover similarly decorated and with a fully modeled seated whippet-form finial, marked on underside and numbered 3901-923
