engraving, 1500, on laid paper, watermark Walking Bear (similar to Meder 87), a very fine, early impression, trimmed just inside the platemark, remargined, the corners very skilfully made up
Sheet 160 x 123 mm.

S. Aumüller (?), without mark, according to Blum.
Dr Carlos Gaa (1871 - d. circa 1925), Germany (see Lugt 538; according to Blum, without his mark); probably his sale, C. G. Boerner, Leipzig, 5-6 May 1926, lot 1007 ('Brillant wirkender Abdruck, auf Papier mit dem stehenden Bären. Eine Ecke hinterlegt').
