Lot Essay

Imperial monochrome-glazed bowls of this shape were created in various colors during the Yongzheng reign, however white-glazed examples appear to be considerably rare. A rare small white-glazed jar and cover, Yongzheng six-character mark and of the period, from the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation, was sold at Christie's New York, 14-15 September 2017, lot 1232.
