the flattened handle stamped with an H to the reverse, the handle terminating in a baluster finial with seal top, the bowl punched with the maker's mark of a Tudor rose, overall traces of tinning -- 6 11/16in. (17cm) long

The spoon is sold with a related letter from the Victoria and Albert Museum, dated 3rd September 1953, and with an attached label inscribed Elizabethan, found in River Thames at Tower Bridge, made from latten metal, circa ..... XVI century.
