A Roman North African red ware dish
the convex rim with barbotine decoration of scrolling leaves, restored chip to rim, on ring foot -- 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) diam.; a twin-handled jug, the rounded body with cylindrical neck, the handles with foliate decoration in relief -- 6in. (15.3cm.) high; another larger, with biconical body and single ribbed handle -- 6¾in. (17.2cm.) high; two plates, each with impressed circular or hatched design in the centre -- 11¾in. (29.8cm.) diam. max.; and a pottery lamp with an attacking lion in central discus -- 4in. (10.1cm.) long, all 1st-5th Century A.D.
