A painted wooden servant figure of a mourner
arms held up to either side of the head (right arm missing), with long flowing black painted wig, the body with red pigment and ochre painted face, dowel pin passing diagonally through the torso for attachment, mounted -- 8in. (20.5cm.) high, Dynasty XI-XII (2040-1783 B.C.); and a wooden cut-out polychrome figure of Osiris, standing wearing atef-crown, red, blue and ochre pigments on gesso covered cartonnage, bitumen on the reverse, mounted -- 8 1/8in. (20.7cm.) high, Late Period (712-332 B.C.) (2)
