A Ptolemaic 'faience' vessel fragment
the pale turquoise and cream fragment depicting a soldier wearing a conical-shaped helmet attacking with a sword and stick, with band of hooked spirals above, and another band above of rosettes -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) high; an opaque red glass profile head inlay -- 1in. (2.5cm.) high, both Ptolemaic, 3rd-2nd Century B.C.; and a group of bronzes from various periods including a Roman bronze steelyard weight of the head of Athena, wearing crested helmet, pierced for suspension, mounted -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) high, circa 3rd Century A.D.; an Egyptian bronze eye outline inlay -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) across; and a double uraeii amulet -- 1.7cm. high, both Late Period-Ptolemaic, 7th-1st Century B.C.(a lot)
