The lots that form this collection comprise of superlative examples of late 20^th century Bordeaux with fantastic provenance.
The vast majority of the collection was purchased by the consignor’s family en primeur and stored in-bond in the UK thereafter.
This is a Bordeaux enthusiasts dream. The collection celebrates the great wines of both the left and right bank, in vintages from the 1970s, through to very recent vintages like 2005, 2009 and 2010. Star lots feature across the collection, but particular mention should go to a parcel of multiple cases of the legendary Haut Brion 1989 and Mouton Rothschild 1986, alongside one of the most comprehensive selections of Pavie we have seen in recent years. Christie’s is delighted to present this stellar collection to market.
