painted and gilt with panels depicting the gul-o-bulbul design within gilt borders of scrolling foliage and stylised leaves on black grounds, the cover inrerior with a similarly decorated border surrounding a fitted mirror, silk lined -- 14½in.(36.8cm) wide, late 18th century, (chips and damages).
