A HUANGHUALI WAISTLESS FLUSH CORNER-LEG RECTANGULAR STOOL, CHANGFANGDENG
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The stool is of ‘four-corners flush’ form, the soft mat seat is set within rectangular frame above a curvilinear, beaded apron with a carved lotus flower at the centre. The whole is supported on shaped and beaded legs of square section.
