Lot Essay

Ref. 2569 and 2569/1 were produced from 1954 to around 1956. It is believed that less than 100 pieces were made. Cased by Antoine Gerlach with case maker key number 4, both references were equipped with calibre 12-400. So far there are only 3 known 2569/1, the rarity of the present watch is further enhanced by the “Huber” signature on the dial which to the best of our knowledge, is the only known with such a retailer’s signature. Furthermore the condition of the watch is extremely well preserved, making this piece a must-have for vintage Patek collectors.
