The bracelet watch is crafted from the most noble metal, platinum, and has incredible, artisanal diamond settings throughout the case and bracelet. Approximately weighing and consisting of 80 marquise-cut diamonds at 10.06 carats, 194 baguette-cut diamonds at 7.83 carats, and 58 brilliant-cut diamonds at 5.66 carats, the watch may surely be the most impressive, diamond-set timepiece that one may encounter.
Extraordinarily rare to find today, this timepiece is accompanied by its Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming its year of manufacture in 1957. The model was featured on the cover of Louis Cottier’s “Montres et Bijoux” 1957 catalog along with matching jewelry pieces from Patek Philippe, as seen in the image attached to this lot. Discovered locked away in the original owner’s safe, it is a true masterpiece of 1950s Patek Philippe panache.
