Harwood, Wishing you a Happy New Year, Sincerely, George Gershwin, Dec 1932.’ Featuring 18 songs, including the Gershwin standards Swanee, Fascinating Rhythm, That Certain Feeling, The Man I Love, Strike Up The Band and I’ve Got Rhythm. Preceded by the signed limited edition of 300 copies, published the same year.

Folio (329 x 252 mm). Frontispiece portrait of Gershwin at the piano, 18 full-page colour illustrations by Constantin Alajalov. Original half terracotta reversed calf and tan buckram, covers and spine ruled and lettered in blue (rubbing to extremities, bruising to spine ends), with original dust-jacket illustrated by Alajalov (edge chips and tears, tape repairs to front panel). Provenance: Alma H. Harwood (authorial presentation inscription to front free endpaper, dated December 1932).
