An Obadiah Sherratt type 'bull baiting group'
typically modelled with the tethered bull tossing a terrier over his back, another attacking his snout, at the other end a man standing with outstretched arms, on rectangular table base, the frieze applied with two oval plaques incised BULL BEATING and NOW CAPTIN LAD above swags of flowers, fully painted in colours -- 38.5cm. in length, early 19th century (restorations and wear)
