Lot Essay

Reference 5110 was launched in 2000, much inspired by the celebrated reference 1415, Patek Philippe’s first World Time watch introduced in the 1930s. It was replaced in 2006 by reference 5130. It was available in all four case materials, yellow such as the present example, white, pink gold and platinum.

Offered in very good overall condition and with the full set of accessories, the present timepiece is a fantastic wristwatch for world travellers. Featuring 24 cities, the timepiece is powered by inhouse Caliber 240 HU which features a 22k yellow gold micro-rotor to help the watch remain slim, while maintaining automatic winding capabilities. The movement features hand finished Côtes de Genève and anglage beveling that demonstrate the master craftsmanship Patek Philippe watchmakers achieve in their timepieces.
