A George III Scottish goblet and a Victorian Scottish christening bowl,
the former on a reeded and bright-cut rising circular base, the bowl engraved with a frieze of paterae and foliage, one side with an armorial with crest, motto and date 1807, the other side with a monogram, impressed with a maker's surname in full Howden, Edinburgh 1805 - 7in. (17.75cm.), the bowl modelled as a two-handled tapering circular butter churn enhanced with two friezes of horizontal fluting and with a moulded rim, one side engraved with a name and date 1869, maker's initials C.R.& S., Edinburgh 1866 - 5¼in. (13.50cm.) overall, 15.75oz. (2)
