A similar ding is illustrated by Zheng Xinmiao in Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum, Beijing, 10, collection no. Gu87845, no. 65, p. 95; another rectangular ding also with taotie masks bearing a Qianlong yuzhi mark, from the collection of Andrew K. F. Lee, was included by Humphrey K. F. Hui and Tina Yee-wan Pang in the exhibition of Virtuous Treasures, Chinese Jades for the Scholar’s Table, 2008, no. 6, pp. 48-49; another from the Marcia Israel Collection was included by George Kuwayama in Chinese Jade from Southern California Collections, an exhibition held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 1976-1977, no. 45, p. 58.
