the first pair octagonal with silver borders, engraved with radiating bands and scrolling foliage, the second pair octagonal and engraved with flowerheads, the third pair oval and engraved with foliate monogram BP within bright cut borders

Lot Essay

A pair of circular cuff links by Paul Revere Sr. engraved with similar flowerheads to the pair in the present lot are in the collection of the Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, Connecticut (Acc. No. 1959.17.2a-b). A further pair of circular cuff links engraved with similar flowerheads were sold from the Estate of Eric Martin Wunsch, Christie's, New York, 22 January 2015, lot 71.
