The center painted with a peony spray and two fantastical birds in an unusual bird's-eye view of a fenced garden, the green-ground border painted with alternating pomegranates and peony blooms, spaced by fan- and leaf-shaped panels painted with a landscape and two bird-and-flower scenes, the underside with further flowering branches within a ruyi-head border
