Lot Essay

Of solid, U-shaped form, it is grooved on its underside and perforated along its length for attachment, perhaps to a vessel rim, by means of pins, some of which are preserved. One end terminates in two ram-head protomes, with a female head projecting at the other end, all with incised details.
