Specialist note

This characterful face of a middle aged man clearly shows the skill of the sculptor. He is depicted with a creased forehead and shaven egg-shaped skull, with full jowls and two incised wrinkles on the neck. For a creased forehead see Egyptian Sculpture of the Late period, Bernard V.
