Lot Essay

This work is drawn on the frontispiece of Dalí's 1974 Surrealist cookbook, Les dîners de Gala. Renowned for his extravagant soirées featuring opulent menus, Dalí's culinary creations were as visionary as his storied œuvre. The present lot is dedicated to Catalan painter and writer, Joan-Josep Tharrats i Vidal.
