Ondine, a rare French Swimming doll
with bisque head, closed mouth, blue eyes, pierced ears, blonde curly mohair wig over cork pate and cork body with wooden limbs, dressed in remains of original blue wool bathing dress, clockwork movement enables doll to float and swim on her back - 13in. 33cm. long, head impressed 2/0, Circa 1876 (lower limbs need restringing)
