Both cigarette boxes rounded rectangular, the first with two hinged covers with gold thumbpieces set with a cabochon sapphire, the second with single hinged cover with parcel-gilt silver shaped thumbpiece, the center applied with silver-gilt script monogram JC, the interior with divider, both marked on thumbpieces with French control marks, the first mark of Frontin, the second maker's mark unclear; The compact rounded square, the hinged cover with a central silver strap applied with a double headed eagle, the interior with powder compartment and sifter, with a mirror to the inside of the cover, marked on mounts 925 and with Austrian control mark for Vienna
