A LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED JAPANESE LACQUER AND EBONIZED OCCASIONAL TABLE BY JEAN-BAPTISTE TUART, CIRCA 1775 Of unusually small size, the rectangular top decorated with birds and flowering trees above a drawer to one end, the frieze with a river landscape to each side, on square tapering legs joined by an undertier, stamped three times I.B.TUART JME, once to center drawer, twice to underside 28 ¼ in. (72 cm.) high, 10 ¾ in. (27.5 cm.) wide, 6 ¾ in. (17.5 cm.) deep
