Of flattened fan-form with scalloped rim, raised on four paw feet headed by acanthus, the lower body chased with a dense band of scrolled foliage and flowerheads, the upper body with further flowers and scrolled foliage, engraved on one side with with block monogram HI & CL S between the dates Feb 2nd 1860 and Feb 2nd 1885, gilt interior, marked on underside and numbered 7334-8197
