The dishes oval with molded scroll rims with acanthus at intervals, engraved on the interior with a crest, the conforming covers with slip-lock figural crest finials, engraved on one side with a crest, the silver-plated warming stands with reeded loop handles and raised on four scroll feet headed by acanthus, marked throughout, the dishes numbered two through four, the covers and warming stands numbered one through four, the finials dot numbered
15 ¾ in. (40 cm.) long, over handles, the warming stands
197 oz. 12 dwt. (228.7 gr.) weighable silver
The engraved crest and heraldic finial are those of Beaumont and Stapleton for Miles Thomas Stapleton, 8th Baron Beaumont (1805-1854).
