Two George III cream jugs,
the earlier example of part spiral-fluted pear-shape, on trefoil feet and with a shaped rim and leaf-capped double scroll handle, decorated with flowers and foliage and engraved with a monogram within a C-scroll and scalework cartouche, maker's initials I.M., London 1763 - 4in. (10cm.), the later example of tapering moulded oval form and with reeded borders and a bracket handle, bright-cut with a floral and foliate frieze and also engraved with a monogram within a shaped oblong cartouche, maker's initials T.W., London 1796.
