A GROUP OF NINE JADE AND STONE ORNAMENTS
NEOLITHIC PERIOD-EASTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, 3RD MILLENNIUM-5TH CENTURY BC
The group comprises an ivory-colored jade bead, Liangzhu culture, circa 2500 BC; a beige jade silkworm pupae bead, late Shang-early Western Zhou dynasty, 12th-10th century BC; a mottled jade coiled dragon pendant, Western Zhou dynasty, 11th-8th century BC; three beige jade spacer plaques, late Western Zhou dynasty, late 9th-early 8th century BC; a taupe stone curved dragon pendant, Eastern Zhou dynasty, 6th-5th century BC; a grey jade arc-shaped plaque, Eastern Zhou dynasty, 6th-5th century BC; and a pale greenish-grey jade bi disc, 6th-5th century BC. Together with an archaistic pale greenish-grey jade reticulated dragon plaque, Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
The largest: 3 7⁄16 in. (8.8 cm.) wide
