PROBABLY JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN, INDIA, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The lac-filled gold body with a triangular cross section, set with foiled colourless and green gemstones, a fringe of small pearls in gold mounts held in place with small pieces of green glass, the interior enamelled in polychrome with flowers and birds on a white ground, hinge-opening secured with gem-mounted screw
4in. (10.2cm.) diam.
