"Having been obsessed for sometime with the idea of making a black on black painting, this watercolour is the second attempt in this direction but for some reasons the painting made itself and the wings of the bird remained light giving it a different sense of power. Done spontaneously even though some details can be seen, it represents the work I am currently researching. My interest in the subject of corvids began a few years ago with a sudden overpopulation of these species in my region and it allowed me to have a wide range of pictorial explorations."
