What makes this caliber so innovative is that should the watch not be used for 35 minutes or more, the hands stop displaying the time and are in 'standby' mode to save energy, while the microprocessor continues operating to keep track of the actual time. Upon picking up the watch and moving the visible micro-rotor at 4 o'clock, the hands automatically move to the correct time.
Originally, this collection was created for a feminine audience with smaller cases, some being adorned with diamonds. Since then, the Maison has created a larger size for men, and this model has become one of the hardest and most in-demand F.P. Journe timepieces to acquire from the boutique.
