For his collaboration with Dior, Beijing-based artist Wang Yuyang drew inspiration from his "Moon" series. He transformed the Lady Dior bag into a canvas, recreating the lunar texture using embroidery, sequins, and 3D reliefs. Notably, he wore special glasses that allowed him to see only in black and white during the creative process, resulting in a random and unexpected use of color. This first foray into the fashion world proved to be an unforgettable experience for him, driving innovation in form, materials, and concept.
