An eight-piece tea and coffee service,
comprising: a teapot, a tea kettle, stand and burner with tray, a coffee pot and a hot water jug, each of moulded oblong form and with ebonised wood bracket handles and domed hinged covers with oblong wood finials, a cream jug and sugar basin, the scroll handles with lion's head terminals, Robert Pringle, London 1913, and a non-matching two-handled oblong tray with gadrooned border, the ground engraved with an elaborate vacant floral and scrollwork cartouche, Edward Barnard and Sons, London 1913 - height of coffee pot 9in (23cms.), length of tray 28¾in (73cms) overall, 286oz. gross.
