each of melon-fluted compressed form and on a rising shaped circular base, chased with convolvulus and other flowers with scrolling foliage, the teapot with a fluted and chased leaf-capped rising curved spout, leaf-capped scroll handle and domed hinged cover with flower finial, the gilt-lined sugar basin with leaf-capped scroll handles and domed detachable cover with flower finial, the teapot maker's initials C.G., London 1836, the sugar basin Messrs. Barnard, London 1838; and a Victorian gilt-lined fluted baluster cream jug chased with flowers and foliage, maker's initials F.D., London 1841 - height of teapot 5in. (12.75cm.), 46oz. (3)
