The present watch is a lovely example of the Daytona reference 116519. Nicknamed 'Daytona Beach', the model was available in four colors: green, blue, pink, and yellow with subsequent dials made of chrysoprase, turquoise, and two shades of mother-of-pearl. The dials were fitted with color-matching lizard straps, enhancing their unusual and rare beauty. These watches truly emphasize Rolex's ability to display signs of eccentricity and were instant classics, making them some of the most collectible modern iterations of the Daytona.
