Acquired directly from the family of Yau Man Shum by the present owner.
Further details
This collection formerly belonged to Mr. Yau Man Shum, a student of Ding Yanyong. Mr. Yau studied at the Tsinghua Academy in Hong Kong during the 1970s and graduated in 1975 as a member of the twelfth graduating class. During this period, he studied under Ding Yanyong, who was appointed as the head of the Department of Art at Tsinghua Academy in 1972 and served until 1977.
