Étui-form, the gold body enameled with panels of translucent yellow over a moiré guilloché ground, within opaque white enamel rims, the gold borders further enameled with white and red dots and red ribbon-tied green laurels, with a diamond push-piece, engraved with ‘Fabergé’ in Cyrillic on the rim, and marked inside cover with workmaster’s initials

A design for a comparable cigarette case is featured in the Wigström’s design book held in the National Library of Finland (see U. Tillander-Godenhielm, Fabergé: The Twilight Years, Drawings and Objects from the Second Henrik Wigström Album, 2023, pp. 101-102, pl. 37). An almost identical cigarette case in steel grey enamel was sold at Christie's, Geneva, 12 May 1981, lot 118.
