Heavy and substantial thanks to the solid platinum case and bracelet construction, the 40th Anniversary Nautilus was launched in September 2016 along with the oversized white gold Nautilus chronograph reference 5976/1G. The blue sunburst dial is adorned with perfectly matched baguette diamonds for the hour indexes with a total weight of 0.34 carats and is furthermore stamped with the 40th Anniversary inscription “40 1976-2016”. Additionally, Patek Philippe revived the famous and beloved cork presentation box in homage to the first ever stainless steel Nautilus, reference 3700⁄1.
