A pair of table globes, diameter 12in inches (305 mm), overall height 33 inches (838 mm) each globe made up of twelve lithographed paper gores, delicately coloured, the celestial gores laid to the celestial pole, decorated with the constellation figures of myology, with magnitude decent, the terrestrial with geographical and oceanic information including the trade winds (old damages abrasions). Both globes with iron axis, engraved brass hour rings and meridian circles, printed groizon rings, with original varnish, on mahogany tripod stands, with baluster supports the inswept feet termination with bun feet.
