before the reworks in drypoint and roulette, and before the portrait of his wife was replaced by a landscape
printing with great clarity, luminous contrasts and a light, selectively wiped plate tone
with narrow margins
a short repaired tear at left, some minor foxing and surface dirt
generally in good condition
