A slightly smaller Tang gilt-bronze bell of the same form and design from the Arthur M. Sackler Collections, illustrated P. Singer in Early Chinese Miniatures, New York, 1997, p.77, no. 184, was exhibited at the China House Gallery, New York, 16 March-29 May 1977.
