The slender bleu de roi ground ovoid-shaped bodies painted with reserves of couples in 18th century courtly attire within garden landscapes, heightened overall with gilt scrolls, the twin 'C' scroll handles with scallop shell terminals, the domed rising covers with leaf-wrapped pineapple finials, on square bases with re-entrant angles 13½in.
