The rectangular domed case applied with panels of champlevé enamel and hung with berried laurel swags below a conforming urn-shaped finial with rams' mask handles, the circular dial with gilt Roman numerals, signed LEMERLE CHARPENTIER FANT DE BRONZES PARIS, with twin train movement, with the matching pair of five light candelabra and candlesticks en suite
