Lot Essay

Edward Hopper dedicated this print to Peggy Wrenn Rehn, the first wife of gallerist Frank K. M. Rehn. Frank and Peggy were early champions of Hopper's work and hosted an early important 1924 exhibition of his warercolors at the Frank K.M. Rehn Gallery.
