Lot Essay

Szeto Wai (1913-1991) was a prominent Hong Kong engineer and architect. As the University Architect of The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1963 to 1978, he oversaw the design and construction of many key campus buildings, earning a reputation as one of the “constructors of CUHK.” He also served as an unofficial member of both the Executive Council and Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
